Stunning Arizona Weather Captured on Camera
One of my favorite times of year in Arizona is actually the summer. While I am not a big fan of triple digit heat, I am a fan of Arizona’s monsoon. From June 15th – September 30th, Arizona welcomes a season of rain and thunderstorms. During the monsoon, I travel thousands of miles all over the state, photographing Arizona’s weather.
Believe or not, you can see all kinds of weather here in Arizona. Shelf clouds, blizzards and even a tornado are possible. However, I’m not looking for the extreme weather you’d find out on the plains. Instead, I’m looking for isolated thunderstorms, microburst, and even lightning. It’s this kind of weather that enhances our already beautiful landscapes and I think you can see what I mean by watching the videos below.
